Determiner (penentu) yaitu kata yang di gunakan sebagai penentuan kata benda, meliputi:

Artikel: a/an dan the
Demonstratives: this, these, that dan those
Possesive: my, your, his, her, its, our, their
Quantitatives: some, many, much, a few, every, any, etc

contoh:
An opinion        : suatu gagasan
A colegue          : seorang  teman sejawat

The sun              : matahari
This information: informasi ini

Her umbrella      : payungnya
Every student      : setiap siswa.
